Positive: The property itself is amazing—you can tell so much love went into restoring the heritage features. We really enjoyed the "old world" feel throughout our stay. It’s also perfectly situated for hikers; we loved being able to walk straight to the tracks. Negative: A couple of small things to note: the ensuite is beautifully restored, though the shower configuration is a little challenging to use. We also felt the outdoor seating area didn't quite live up to the rest of the house and could do with a good scrub or new furniture. Despite that, we’d definitely recommend it for the charm and location!

Magic views and stunning spacious house Positive: The house located right in the forest, with a stunning view and majestic garden, it makes you feel like you are in a fairy tale. Fresh air, very quiet, very warm, spacious, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's perfect for families with kids because it has an enormous garden attached where kids can play. Also there is a functioning fireplace and fire pit outside the house. Plus, a spa with a view! I've been in many places (hotels and houses) in Blue Mountains and by far, this house was the most impressive! Loved it and can't wait to come back again. Negative: The main bedroom and bedroom next to it were so hot. I tried to regulate the heat and put the heating system temperature to 19-22C. Still, it was consistently hot inside these bedrooms, it felt like 30C. It's definitely better to be warm than cold when you are staying in Blue Mountains but it did mess up our sleep. So if you prefer sleeping in colder temperatures than pick the kids bedroom or the sofa bed. These rooms were much cooler.

Lovely old home Positive: Great location, near walks and conservation hut. Beautiful views. Loved the fireplace. Great central heating. Lovely living areas. We were there in winter so didn’t really use the grounds but they would be lovely in summer there is an outdoor plug for electric car charging Master bedroom massive and very comfortable Negative: There are 3 coffee machines and none work very well- would do better with a simple nespresso machine, however conservation hut 1 minute walk and does great coffee.
